We recently had a buyer, who we did not continue with us, insinuate that all we, as agents, do is ‘drive around’. I was amazed. Partly to blame for not fully educating would be the argument my peers would make. Something else at play is more my opinion, but that is not the topic.
Arguing the overall usefulness and validity of this insurance and its related cost is for another time. Simply, in a foreclosure market, like we have at the time of writing, it very much earns its keep.
Being I own a small real estate firm, I am, of course, bias. I am also honest-there is not a clear answer and each person must make their own determination. More than anything - hire the agent, the person -not the name.
